Los Angeles Westside native with over a billion dollars sold in residential real estate, David Solomon consistently ranks in the Wall Street Journal's annual list of top 250 agents in the United States. In 2019, his sales topped $170,000,000 ranking him one of the top producing agents at his firm. Having recently joined Douglas Elliman, coming from a position as partner at The Agency, David at the time had set out to join an industry-disrupting brokerage that would redefine the business of real estate. Prior to The Agency's inception in 2011, David had spent nearly a decade at Prudential California Realty, which later became Berkshire Hathaway, and was often ranked in the top 10 in the entire company.
As an early adopter of technology, web, video, social media, and a keen eye for real estate marketing, David exponentially grew his business year-over-year, even when the market was seemingly collapsing in the 2008 downturn. He prides his business in being able to deliver world-class marketing with aggressive, but delicate sales and negotiation skills, white-glove service, and handling every transaction and client with the utmost discretion. A natural born sales person with a true passion for people, his clients often become friends for life. David's clients are comprised of a wide variety of fields from top tech entrepreneurs, celebrities, athletes, entertainment execs, business moguls, foreign investors, and more.
Having grown up in the business and now spending nearly 15 years in it himself, David has seen the ups and downs of different markets. Beyond just selling real estate for clients, he has bought, designed, built, and sold numerous properties, and continues to own and rent out a handful of prime coastal properties. David's biggest passions aside from family, include surfing, traveling, photography, art, design, and architecture. When not working, he can often be found spending time with his family, and his favorite activity is snowboarding with his son Greyson when time permits.
